Hey there, thanks for stopping by!

Since 2013, I have had the privilege of learning and working in a variety of settings across Michigan that center on community integration and daily wellness. My educational roots originally stem from Flint, then to Detroit, and later Ann Arbor, which has largely shaped how I have shown up as a clinical social worker in Lansing, Marquette, and now Kalamazoo. My background includes experience in inpatient and urgent home-based care, as well as outpatient settings for long-term guidance.

Living with a chronic illness since 2008 and navigating the grievances with ongoing healthcare and lifestyle adjustments, I bring personal insight into the toll health care can take, as well as knowing what the real ask of putting yourself first is like. These experiences have highlighted the importance of creating a relational therapeutic space to talk through it all— even with a lil’ sarcasm & dark humor to help take the edge off ✨

My mixed-methods approach incorporates trauma-informed and culturally-adapted awareness to evidence-based techniques, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Trauma Techniques, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. Together, we will focus on emotional exploration, skill-building, and cultivating trust from within.
